How We Review Wellness Offers: Our Research Process
Readers often ask how we decide what to feature and what our reviews are based on. This page explains our process in detail, including its limits. We would rather you know exactly what our write-ups can and cannot tell you than give the impression of more certainty than we have.
What we are and are not
Best Wellness Guide is an independent publisher of buyer guides for wellness and supplement offers, most of them sold through the ClickBank marketplace. We are not a laboratory, a clinic or a medical provider. We do not run clinical trials or lab tests, and we do not give individual medical advice. Our job is to organize publicly available information so you can make a more informed decision, and to point out what you should verify yourself.
What we check on every offer
- Seller identity: whether the official page names the company and provides support contact details
- Ingredients: whether the full ingredient list and amounts are disclosed, or hidden in a proprietary blend
- Manufacturing and testing disclosures: claims about GMP facilities or third-party testing, and whether they can be verified
- Claims: whether the sales page stays within wellness-support language or drifts into disease, cure or guarantee claims
- Pricing: single-bottle and bundle pricing, shipping costs and cost per day
- Purchase terms: refund window, whether opened bottles qualify and whether the checkout creates a subscription
- Fit: who the product is aimed at and who should talk to a doctor first
Sources we use
For product details we use the seller's official pages, product labels and published policies. For general health background we rely on public guidance from established health organizations, such as the FDA, CDC, National Institutes of Health, National Academies, American Dental Association and American Academy of Ophthalmology, and we describe research findings in general terms rather than overstating them. If we are not sure about something, we say so.
How affiliate links work here
When you click an offer button and buy from the official seller, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. That is how the site is funded. Commission relationships influence which offers we cover, and we are open about that in our Affiliate Disclosure. They do not change the price you pay, and we do not accept payment to publish a particular verdict.
Our writing standards
We aim to write the way a careful friend would: describe what the seller claims, separate it from what has been established, and avoid repeating promises of cures or guaranteed results. Health topics include a reminder that our content is not a substitute for professional advice, and our Medical Disclaimer applies to everything on the site.
Alongside product guides we publish general educational articles, such as how to read a supplement label and how to spot misleading health claims, because a well-informed reader is better protected than one who relies on any single review, including ours.
Updates and corrections
Sellers change formulas, prices and policies. We review pages periodically, and each guide shows a last-updated date. If you spot something outdated or wrong, please tell us through the Contact page. We review every report and correct errors promptly.
What we do not do
We do not publish fake reviews, invent testimonials or claim to have personally tested products we have not tested. We do not create urgency, such as fake countdown timers or stock warnings, on our own pages. We do not tell readers to stop or replace prescribed treatment. If a seller's page makes claims we consider unsupported, we will not repeat them as fact, and we may point out what a buyer should verify.
How we choose what to cover
We focus on products that are actively sold through reputable affiliate marketplaces, have an official checkout with stated refund terms, and serve a common reader interest such as oral health, memory and focus, joint comfort or hearing. We periodically review whether a featured offer still meets those basics, and we remove offers that no longer do.
